Emily Chambers Sharpe is passionate about making hope and healing available for as many people as possible. She is a graduate of Boston University with her MPH. Before having the privilege of serving her neighbors in the greater Charlotte, NC, area, she worked in humanitarian health and nutrition and the global HIV response for 20 years. Prior to joining House of Mercy in 2018, she worked in multiple contexts across the globe with organizations like Medair, World Vision, Samaritan's Purse and the US Department of State's Office of the US Global AIDS Coordinator. As President & CEO for House of Mercy, Emily is focused on providing hope, healing and a home to people living with HIV in the Charlotte area.
